Biography

Dr. Adnan Rasool is an Associate Professor of Political Science and the inaugural Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he combines rigorous scholarship with practical community impact. As a principal researcher, he designed critical workforce development frameworks for Ford's BlueOval City project, directly informing its $9 million Good Neighbor Plan for the region. He has secured over $100,000 in rural development funding and forged strategic partnerships with industry leaders and state agencies.

An expert on Asian affairs and a sought-after public commentator, he is the author of "Sabotage: Lessons in Bureaucratic Governance" and was most recently part of the latest cohort of the University of Tennessee System's prestigious Leadership Institute.
